After I completed my residency training, I joined a group practice in Pasadena, caring for the underserved population for three years. Then, I joined Carelon Health in 2010 as an extensivist, which allowed me to practice primary care. In this role, I treated patients in an acute hospital setting, but I also collaborated with our primary care doctors, specialists, and chronic disease clinicians. In some cases, I even continued caring for patients at a skilled nursing center until their conditions improved. In my free time, I enjoy playing tennis and spending family time with my two children.
